As I understand it, current macs have an 'Fn lock' button which enables the user to reverse the function of the F keys, so that one is able to switch between having an F1 button press registered and the brightness adjusted when F1 is pressed, but on this ancient mac keyboard, there doesn't seem to be such a key or secondary function of any key. The Command key (⌘), used in most Mac keyboard shortcuts. The key functions as a Meta key in Unix-like environments, and is equally equivalent to the Windows key in Windows environments, although in common applications it performs the same function as the Windows Control key. The function keys on your Mac are located in the top row, but with the new MacBook Pro, Apple introduced the MacBook variant with a touch bar at the top of the keyboard replacing the function keys. Hold down the Fn key. This key is usually found in the bottom-left corner of your keyboard next to the Ctrl or Control key. If you're using a full-size Mac keyboard, you may find it between the letter keys and the 10-key numeric keypad.
Many of the keys that you'd see on a PC have equivalent keys on an Apple keyboard.
